Lin Cherry Joins Caldera Law, Expanding Firm’s Entertainment, Sports, And Technology Capabilities

MIAMI – OCTOBER 8, 2025 – Caldera Law announced today that Lin Cherry, a seasoned executive and general counsel with more than two decades of experience across entertainment, sports, digital media, and technology, has joined the firm as Partner.

At Caldera, Cherry will focus on expanding the firm’s capabilities in corporate transactions, intellectual property, sports and entertainment, and emerging technology. Her practice will also support startups, scale-ups, and creative talent navigating strategic investments, commercial agreements, and growth opportunities.

Cherry brings a unique background as a former General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for leading global media and technology companies. Throughout her career, Cherry has handled cross-border transactions and international matters through senior legal roles at multinational corporations. Her experience includes positions at HBO Latin America and Wizeline, a private-equity-backed technology scale-up. She also held general counsel positions at subsidiaries of América Móvil and News Corporation, and currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, where she teaches a course on artificial intelligence and dealmaking.
