
Jeremy Ben-David is a Co-Founder and Partner of Caldera Law, where he focuses on real estate private equity, transactional real estate, and corporate advisory work for sponsors, developers, and investors. His practice spans deal structuring, joint ventures, commercial leasing, and fund- related matters, with a strong emphasis on helping clients navigate sophisticated real estate and corporate transactions.
With a background that bridges legal practice, entrepreneurship, and private investment, Jeremy brings more than just legal advice, he brings perspective. Years of building businesses and advising clients across sectors have given him a unique ability to see the full picture, combining legal analysis with commercial insight. He particularly enjoys structuring deals and developing creative, thoughtful solutions that reflect both the context of the transaction and the specific needs of each client, helping them move their businesses and deals forward.
Jeremy is also a Principal and General Counsel at BAS Holdings, a Miami-based private equity and development firm focused on affordable housing, solar finance, and real asset investments. He serves as President of SunRocket Capital, a BAS portfolio company, that provides construction-to-perm financing solutions to solar developers nationwide.
Earlier in his career, Jeremy practiced at a prominent Florida-based firm and later served as Corporate Counsel at a national investment platform focused on real estate and credit markets. He has been recognized multiple times by Best Lawyers in America© for Real Estate Law and was named a “Top Lawyer” in the South Florida Legal Guide (2020).
Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (with honors) and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law (cum laude). He is licensed to practice in Florida and remains actively involved in civic and nonprofit work focused on youth, education, and community service.
