Caldera Law Hires Distinguished IP Attorney Janet Moreira

Miami, FL, May 15, 2023 – Janet Moreira, a distinguished intellectual property attorney with extensive experience handling domestic and international matters, joins Caldera Law as a partner, bringing more than two decades of expertise in counseling clients on trademarks, domain names, and copyright matters. Moreira’s remarkable leadership places Caldera Law as a vetted law firm provider in Amazon's IP Accelerator program.

With extensive knowledge in U.S. and international trademark portfolio counseling and management, trademark clearance, trademark and copyright prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement, Moreira will lead the firm’s growth in both traditional trademark practice and Amazon Brand Registry services.

“Janet’s wealth of experience will help clients maximize value and protection across domestic and international markets,” said Managing Partner Ben Wolkov. “Her extensive network of relationships within the legal and business landscapes also enables seamless collaboration for global product launches and coordinated efforts.”

In addition to filing thousands of applications around the world, Moreira is recognized as a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property and is serving her third non-consecutive term on the Florida Bar's Intellectual Property Certification Committee. Her dedication to the field has earned her the prestigious Super Lawyer designation, an honor bestowed upon only 5% of lawyers in the United States, for six years.

Before joining Caldera Law, Moreira successfully operated her own boutique practice for the past decade, leveraging the skills she acquired at Lott & Friedland, PA, and Stearns Weaver Miller.

“Caldera Law is a growing firm with a holistic approach to serving clients, and I’m excited to be a part of that growth,” said Moreira. “The firm’s wide range of expertise and culture of collaboration puts us in the unique position of being able to offer clients real value that will contribute to the growth of their business in the U.S. and internationally.”

Moreira's addition to Caldera Law solidifies the firm's commitment to providing exceptional intellectual property counsel. With her extensive expertise, strategic mindset, and deep understanding of the ever-evolving IP landscape, Moreira is poised to lead the firm in delivering exceptional results and protecting clients' intellectual property rights with unwavering dedication.
