Corporate Attorney John "J.J." Ogilby Joins Caldera Law

Miami, FL, March 27, 2024 – J.J. Ogilby has joined Caldera Law, bringing extensive experience in corporate and transactional law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital financings, and corporate governance matters.

Before joining Caldera Law, Ogilby served as a corporate associate at an Am Law 100 firm in Miami, where he honed his skills in advising clients on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions. His expertise includes domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, commercial contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate governance matters.

Ogilby is renowned for his ability to navigate complex legal landscapes and provide strategic counsel to organizations across various industries. His track record includes representing clients in high-stakes transactions, such as multi-billion dollar mergers, private equity acquisitions, securities offerings, and counseling multinational corporations on complex commercial contracts. Some of his notable achievements include representing a publicly traded REIT in a transformative $18 billion merger transaction and advising on numerous middle market M&A transactions ranging in transaction values from $5 million to $800 million for clients in the technology, music, telecommunications, aerospace, industrial, energy, and financial services sectors.
